P ROGRAM CONTENT

An orientation session prior to the start of the
program will give the participant the opportunity
to determine if MBSR is right for
him/her.

The program consists of eight 2½-hour
weekly classes and one all-day Saturday
session.

In class, participants learn and practice meditation
methods such as mindful breathing,
mindful yoga, mindful communication
skills, and awareness of thoughts, feelings
and physical sensations.

Group participation in a relaxed and supportive
atmosphere provides an interactive experience.

Commitment to 30 to 45 minutes daily practice
at home during the program.

Upon completion of the program, optional
participation in drop-in meditation and
future all-day sessions.
